After creating your restaurants and outlets, you'll need to add menus and items, then we'll review them and take them live within 48 business hours. To ensure no delays you need to make sure that the content of your menus and outlets complies with our content guidelines below.

1- Outlet & Menus Key Terms:

1-1 RMS “Restaurant Management System”: is the tool where you can add your restaurant(s), as well as add and edit your menus & items, also you can view payment details and sales performance.

1-2 Outlets:

  • Outlet: is each individual branch of your restaurant located in a specific area. For example, you could have two outlets of "Pizza Social", one in Dubai Mall, and the other in Business Bay.

Every outlet includes:

1- Outlet Details:

  • Name in English Shown to Customers
  • Name in Arabic Shown to Customers
  • Phone Number to be used by noon Customer Support
  • Store Manager Phone Number.
  • Name of outlet to be used internally. This name will be used in Order Manager and it usually consists of the restaurant name and branch location.

2- Outlet Location:

  • Address pin on Google Maps & Address to be used by Rider (can include any additional pick-up instructions e.g. Please pick up from backdoor or go inside "X" Kitchen or Beside XYZ store or Shop if applicable).

3- Outlet hero image: This image will be used to represent your outlet in our search results and home page

4- Outlet Banner image: This image will be used on the top of your outlet page.

5- Menu: The menu linked to this Outlet (An outlet can only be linked to one menu at a time).

6- Dietary Restrictions: these are the specifications/restrictions of the food you are offering, for example, "Gluten Free" or "Vegetarian", etc. Dietary restrictions are relevant to the customer search experience, as they have the ability to filter according to their preferred diet.

7- Average Cost Per Person: an approximate value that represents the average cost of consumption of your food and beverages. It reflects on the consumer app as a number of dollar signs ($) depending on the price of your food and beverages (can be calculated based on an average of 2 appetizers + 2 mains + 2 beverages + 1 dessert).

8- Average Preparation Time in Minutes: the average time required for food preparation. It'll be displayed in the outlet info box, and the outlet page on the consumer app as the processing time is an important decision factor for customers. It’s very important to always respect it.

9- Cuisines: on the consumer app, your restaurant cuisines will appear on the homepage of your outlet right under your banner, and in the outlet info box. Cuisines are important when customers perform a search by cuisine or apply a cuisine filter. You can select up to 5 cuisines. The order of selection is important as only the first 3 cuisines will be visible for your outlet, the rest will be relevant to the search experience.

The three main cuisines should be selected based on the below criteria:

    a) The 1st represents 50% of the menu items.

    b) The 2nd represents 30% of the menu items.

    c) The 3rd represents  20% of the menu items.

10- Opening Hours: the restaurant's daily opening hours.

1-3 Menu Maker:

  • Menu: is simply the menu of the restaurant. You can create one or multiple menus which you can choose to link to your outlet(s) at your convenience. Examples of menus can be; "Everyday Menu", "Ramadan Menu", "Weekend Menu", etc. Also, you can check the menu status.

  • Categories: are sections within a menu, such as "Breakfast", "Desserts", "Mains", "Combo Meals", "Drinks", etc. Categories allow you to layer your menu to provide clear segregation of items and optimize the customer browsing & search experience.

To edit, delete, or hide a category click on the 3 dots next to each category name.

  • Item: an individual component of a category, and it is referred to as one unit (even if composed from more than one element). It could be a food or beverage item, a combo meal, a meal box, a snack, etc. Customers can add an item quantity according to their needs.

  • Modifier groups & modifier items: "modifier groups" contain different "modifier items" that belong to the same type, and which allow the customization of an item. For instance, "Sauces" is a modifier group, and it would contain "modifier items" such as "Mustard", "Mayonnaise", etc. A customer could customize a burger (item) with extra cheese (modifier item).
